Two Utilities Seeking Locally Owned Renewable Energy Projects
NAW Staff, Monday 09 April 2012 - 00:00:00
Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power have each issued a request for proposals (RFP) for new renewable energy projects or project additions located in each utility's respective service area.
Projects must be locally owned and commercial scale, with a capacity of less than 10 MW. Preference is given to local projects with a strong educational component and that bring a broader understanding of renewable energy development and generation, and/or further research and development of new renewable energy generation technologies.
The deadline for both RFPs is June 15. More information on the Pacific Power RFP can be found here
, and details on the Rocky Mountain Power RFP are available here
