PacifiCorp, which does business as Rocky Mountain Power in eastern Idaho, has filed an integrated resource plan with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission that details the utility's goal to add 2,000 MW of renewable power to its energy portfolio over the next 10 years. The company plans 1,600 MW of the 2,000 MW goal to come from wind farms in Wyoming, Washington and Oregon.

The commission is taking public comment on the plan, which details how the company intends to meet its resource needs for the next 10 years. Acceptance of the plan does not mean the commission endorses all the proposed projects in the plan, the company adds.
