UtiliPoint International Inc., a research-based consultancy, recently announced that Prabhu Dayal, president of C TRADE and chairman of the Electric Utilities Environmental Conference (EUEC), has joined UtiliPoint.

C TRADE specializes in international development of renewable energy and carbon sequestration projects using clean technologies with carbon credits in Argentina, China, Eritrea, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Maldives, Malaysia, Paraguay, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and the U.S. Dayal spent 23 years with Tucson Electric Power, Century Power, and El Paso Companies, prior to founding C TRADE in 1998.

He also serves as the chair of EUEC 2007, an annual technical meeting in the U.S., where 1,000 utility executives and world-leading experts network in an exhibit area and attend more than 250 technical presentations on clean air, global warming and renewable energy.

"C TRADE, led by Dr. Prabhu Dayal, has established itself as a premier international consulting firm with expertise in the development of renewable energy projects with carbon credits," says Jon T. Brock, chief operating officer of UtiliPoint. "There is a natural synergy between UtiliPoint's research expertise and that of C TRADE's international project experience that we intend to leverage for our mutual clients."
