St. Paul, Minn.-headquartered WindLogics recently expanded its Viewpoint wind resource assessment offerings to include met tower data management services.

According to WindLogics, Viewpoint uses a screening, filtering, review and reporting process to deliver real-time data that have been subjected to both automated screening and meteorologist review. WindLogics has also expanded its GIS capabilities, using the platform to integrate data and provide critical tools for more exacting preliminary planning right through micro-siting, the company adds.

"The last six months have been a very busy time for us," says Mark Ahlstrom, WindLogics' chief executive officer. "The market has recognized the value of combining all available data using integrated modeling methods for better understanding of long-term risk. Data quality is vital, and we're seeing a great deal of demand for next-generation met tower data management services."

In addition to its Viewpoint services, the company says it is expanding its Valuepoint financial analysis for investors and Visionpoint operational services for owners and utilities.
