Regina, Saskatchewan-based All Nations Energy Developments Corp., owned by Cowessess and George Gordon First Nations, will sign an agreement with TransAlta Corp. to develop a 100 MW wind farm in Saskatchewan.

"George Gordon and Cowessess First Nations have been working very hard on developing a wind power project for over two years now," says Chief Ken Sinclair of the George Gordon First Nation. "We are pleased to see the project elevate to the next level as ANEDC and TransAlta work together to develop a proposal for SaskPower to consider as part of their green power strategy."

All Nations Board Director Grady Lerat says that the first objective of the partnership is to develop a proposal for a power purchase agreement from SaskPower with the continued support of their Business Advisors, McNair Business Development Inc.
