EDP Renewables (EDPR) has signed two power purchase agreements (PPAs) for a 150 MW wind project in Texas.

The company has not disclosed many details but notes that it signed a 20-year contract for 50 MW and a 15-year agreement for 100 MW. In addition, EDPR says the wind farm is expected to be installed in 2016 and qualify for production tax credits.

Since the beginning of 2013, EDPR has secured 1,380 MW of new PPAs, including 250 MW for projects that were already in operation and 1,130 MW for new projects to be installed in this year and beyond.
