Vestas In Talks With Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Regarding 'Strategic Cooperation'

Vestas has confirmed that it is in talks with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) regarding a potential strategic cooperation.
MHI has not confirmed or denied the ongoing dialogue. However, in a statement on its website, the company stated that "none of those reports on the matter are based upon MHI's own announcement."
Vestas, on the other hand, says it will make a company announcement if the dialogue results in an agreement between the two companies.
The company has been experiencing ongoing financial troubles due to a global market slowdown resulting from policy uncertainty, including the possible lapse of the production tax credit in the U.S.
