Maplesoft, a Waterloo, Ontario-based provider of software tools for engineering, science and mathematical professionals, has introduced its latest model - Maple-NAG Connector. The tool is intended for a variety of those involved in application development, including engineers designing wind power generators.

Maple-NAG Connector was developed in a partnership with Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG), a provider of software engineering tools. As a front end to the NAG C Library, Maple and this toolbox together provide an integrated environment to make code development easier, the companies say. It eliminates compile times and provides simplified calling sequences and searchable documentation to the NAG routines.

"Maplesoft's partnership with NAG provides a competitive advantage for users as it gives them the power to create faster, more reliable models and applications in shorter time," says Jim Cooper, Maplesoft's president.
