Two Utilities Seeking Locally Owned Renewable Energy Projects

Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power have each issued a request for proposals (RFP) for new renewable energy projects or project additions located in each utility's respective service area.

Projects must be locally owned and commercial scale, with a capacity of less than 10 MW. Preference is given to local projects with a strong educational component and that bring a broader understanding of renewable energy development and generation, and/or further research and development of new renewable energy generation technologies.
