Pacific Power and Rocky Mountain Power have each issued a request for proposals (RFP) for new renewable energy projects or project additions located in each utility's respective service area.

Projects must be locally owned and commercial scale, with a capacity of less than 10 MW. Preference is given to local projects with a strong educational component and that bring a broader understanding of renewable energy development and generation, and/or further research and development of new renewable energy generation technologies.

The deadline for both RFPs is June 15. More information on the Pacific Power RFP can be found here, and details on the Rocky Mountain Power RFP are available here.
