Nordic Windpower, a San Rafael, Calif.-based wind turbine manufacturer, has named Walter Chang chief financial officer (CFO) and Gregg Mead vice president of manufacturing operations.

Prior to joining Nordic Windpower, Chang worked as an independent consultant. He has previously served as CFO at TEN Technology and vice president of operations and de facto CFO at Zuken USA Inc.

Mead's experience includes terms as vice president of manufacturing and supply base management at Condor DC Power, vice president of manufacturing operations at STM Wireless Inc., and director of operations at Peninsula Wireless Communications Inc. and Code-A-Phone Inc.
