Commtest, a Knoxville, Tenn.-based provider of vibration analysis and data acquisition products, has appointed Deborah Block finance and human resource manager. In this position, she will be responsible for directing both the company's finances department and the human resources department - including recruiting, benefits, employee relations and equal employment opportunity.

Prior to joining Commtest, Block was a member of the accounting division of Kimberly Clark in Knoxville, Tenn. She also has 20 years of experience in accounting for Gulf Canada and Anderson Exploration, as well as accounting consulting experience with various companies throughout Canada and the U.S.
