Uber-Rugged MACH1000 Ethernet switches, an extension of Hirschmann's industrial Ethernet product portfolio, now are available for electrical power generation, substation control and supervision, traffic management and surveillance, railway signaling and distribution, and a variety of other applications.

The modularity of these switches provides users with the choice of an almost limitless combination of RJ45 and fiber ports that are available in multimode, single mode and long haul with a variety of fiber connector options.

According to Hirschmann, the MACH1000 family of switches is ideal for new and existing installations in which ambient temperatures and RFI/EMI noise can be high.
