NaiKun Wind Development Inc., a subsidiary of NaiKun Wind Energy Group, has hired Jesper Kjaer Hansen as a technical consultant for the company's offshore wind project off the coast of British Columbia.

Hansen recently finished work with the Danish Technological Institute on national and international issues within the Danish wind industry. Prior to the Technological Institute, he was the manager of research and design at Nordtank Energy Group in Denmark and vice president of research and development for NEG-Micon A/S (now Vestas Wind Systems A/S).

"Mr. Hansen's technical experience within the wind industry and his knowledge of wind turbine generators in particular are a great complement to the NaiKun team," says Peter Hunter, NaiKun Wind Development's vice president of construction and design. "Jesper's expertise will be key to the analysis and evaluation of possible wind turbines for this project."
