La Crosse, Wis.-headquartered Dairyland Power Cooperative has issued two requests for proposals (RFPs) seeking renewable power resources from wind and biomass generation facilities.

The wind RFP seeks proposals from qualified bidders to provide a minimum of 20 MW of capacity no later than 2010. According to Dairyland, the company is interested in receiving proposals to purchase wind power through a purchased power agreement (PPA) with terms of 10 years to 25 years. The RFPs are being coordinated by Clearspring Energy Advisors of Madison, Wis.
