T Bailey Inc., an Anacortes, Wash.-headquartered provider of wind towers from 60 meters to 80 meters tall, and Katana Industries Inc., T Bailey's tower manufacturing affiliate, are partnering with a joint venture investor to establish a wind tower manufacturing facility in the Midwest.

Through this new joint venture partnership, Katana Industries will operate the new wind tower fabrication facility with multiple production lines in the Midwest. The facility is expected to create more than 130 full-time jobs and be complete in early 2008, the companies say.

T Bailey and Katana presently operate two production facilities in Washington state, located in Ephrata and Anacortes. According to the companies, this joint venture will have the capacity to produce more than 400 wind towers per year.
