Mistaya Improves Software That Analyzes Wind Data

Calgary-based Mistaya Engineering Inc., a software developer for the renewable energy industry, has added new features to its Windographer.

The Windographer is a program that processes and analyzes wind data. The new features allow users to open raw wind data files, detect and remove problem data segments, and analyze tower shading, wind shear and wind turbine performance in greater detail, the company says.

"The new features incorporate many of the suggestions we received from customers," adds Tom Lambert, Mistaya's president.
