The first four wind farms on the Thames River site in Ontario, which have an installed capacity of 40 MW, were successively brought online. They now receive the full rate of C$121/MWh paid by the Ontario Power Authority under the advanced renewable energy standard offer program.
This program also ensures that Boralex receives the C$10/MWh subsidy under the federal ecoEnergy program for the next 10 years.
