Trinity Industries Elects Adams As Board Member

Trinity Industries Inc., a Dallas-based wind tower manufacturer through its energy equipment group, has elected John L. Adams a member of its board of directors.

According to the company, Adams opted to leave his position as vice chairman to join the board. He previously served as a director from 1996 to 1999, when he became a member of Trinity's senior executive team.

"We are very pleased that John Adams has agreed to extend his 10-year relationship with Trinity by returning to our board," says Timothy R. Wallace, Trinity's chairman, president and chief executive officer. "His insight into our business is significant, as is his considerable financial and business expertise."

Before joining Trinity, Adams spent 25 years in various capacities with Texas Commerce Bank NA and its successor, Chase Bank of Texas, National Association. He served as president of the Houston bank, and chairman and chief executive officer of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
