Gurit Holding AG, a Switzerland-based supplier of composite materials, has extended its management team to run its wind energy unit. The change is in response to the resignation of Adrian Williams, head of the company's business unit.

On the management team is Jeroen De Gruijter, who is now wind energy global sales manager and business unit manager for southern European accounts and China. He joined the company in November of 2006 after leaving the Spanish firm Hitecsa as the sales and marketing director.

Paul Hayden is now wind energy business manager for northern European accounts and India. Hayden, who was Gurit's U.K. plant manager, brings with him years of experience in purchasing, manufacturing and logistics.

David Cripps has been named wind energy business manager for American accounts at Gurit. He was previously the GE strategic account manager for the company. In 2002, he supported the acquisition of ATC in Canada and moved to Magog, Quebec, to set up the manufacturing operations - he will continue to be based in Magog in his new position.
