Iberdrola Hires Three New Vice Presidents For U.S. Operations

Spain-headquartered Iberdrola, an electric utility and wind power owner and operator, has hired three new vice presidents to further develop wind energy in the U.S.

Rany Raviv has joined the company as vice president of business development. He brings 15 years of experience to the new position, which will be located at Iberdrola Renewable Energies USA Ltd.'s Wayne, Penn., headquarters. Prior to Iberdrola, he was with Ormat Nevada Inc., where he was responsible for business development, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance.

Vikram Bakshi was hired as vice president of energy and risk management at the company's New York office. He brings over 12 years of energy and risk management experience to the new role. He was previously employed at Constellation Energy, where he was responsible for structuring pricing and portfolio management.

Dirk Andreas has joined the company as vice president of midwest development at the company's Chicago office. He has spent over 22 years in the energy industry, with more than 15 years in the development of projects through greenfield development or mergers and acquisitions. He most recently worked at Navigant Consulting Inc. and FPL Energy Inc.
