Tentec Ltd., a designer and manufacturer of bolt tightening equipment based in the U.K., has announced that Lincoln, Mont.-based Wind Turbine Tools Inc. will be the company's exclusive representative in North America. Headed by Jim Daugherty, the company has been supplying calibrated torque tools, power and hand tools, fasteners and tool sets to the wind turbine industry in the U.S. and Canadian markets for over 16 years.

"There is huge potential in the U.S. for our newly launched Aero range of bolt tensioning tools, and we are delighted that Jim and his team have taken on the challenge to introduce these exciting new products into North America," says Roy Sheldon, sales manager for wind turbine products at Tentec.

The Tentec Aero range includes bolt tensioning tools suitable for a complete wind turbine bolting installation or maintenance program on many different types and models of wind turbines.
