Litchfield, Minn.-based TRICO TCWIND Inc., a provider of wind turbine rebuilding and repair services, has hired Dallas Drietz as director of field service operations and Jeff Gartner as director of engineering and electrical services. In addition, the company promoted Grant McDonald to shop foreman.

In his new role, Drietz will help expand the company's on-site services. Prior to joining TRICO TCWIND, Drietz spent four years as Florida Power & Light's site supervisor for the Lake Benton II wind farm. Previous to that, he worked for Enron and Zond in various technical service capacities.

Gartner has over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry as an automation engineer and electrical supervisor. Prior to that, he was a nuclear-trained electrician for the U.S. Navy.

As the shop's foreman, McDonald will be in charge of all aspects of in-house repair and testing. He has instituted quality assurance and safety programs and will supervise all team leaders.
