Escondido, Calif.-based enXco Service Corp., an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has announced a multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) service agreement with Xcel Energy for Xcel's 100.5 MW Grand Meadow Wind Project in Minnesota. enXco will provide O&M for the 67 GE 1.5 MW turbines and balance of plant equipment as well as remote monitoring and fault resets from its operations control center in Pipestone, Minn.

The Grand Meadow Wind Project, under construction by enXco Development Corp. on behalf of Xcel Energy, is expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.

"This project puts enXco Service Corp. at more than 1,000 turbines currently under operations and maintenance contract in the Midwest, and we anticipate continued strong growth in this region well into the future," says Larry Barr, vice president of O&M at enXco.
