Wind turbine manufacturer AAER Inc. has signed a five-year supply agreement with Metallurgy Castech and Plessitech to cast and craft 320 Aeolian hubs in Quebec. This partnership represents an order of more than $C55 million over three years.

"It's a long-term partnership because we also have the intention of working with Metallurgy Castech and Plessitech for the production of the Aeolian's platforms and cases," says David Gagnon, AAER's president.

The production will start rapidly, and the first parts to be cast this year will be delivered to Bromont, according to AAER's production calendar for 2008.
