Wind Energy America Inc. (WNEA) has hired Alan Cross as its chief financial officer (CFO). Cross began his career at Arthur Andersen and Co., where he developed expertise in the creation and syndication of investment vehicles to raise capital for the exploration and development of natural resources. After becoming a partner with the firm, he left public accounting to serve as the CFO for a number of private companies.

"I am excited about Alan's joining Wind Energy America as the first member of the new management team," says interim CEO Darrel Kluge. "His public accounting and private company management experience will be of tremendous value to the company."
