Seattle-based 3TIER Environmental Resource Group recently announced it has secured an investment from Good Energies Investment BV, an investor in renewable energy. The investment will allow 3TIER to increase operational infrastructure, expand internationally, invest in forward-looking projects and co-develop new forecast technologies with university partners, the company says.

Good Energies contributes to the energy transition process through strategic investments in renewable energy companies and through its contributions to renewable energy initiatives. Within the spectrum of clean energy technologies, Good Energies places emphasis on wind energy development, in addition to solar photovoltaics.

"Partnering with a major player like Good Energies validates our efforts to provide customers with accurate forecasts that allow them to make the most efficient use of renewable energy," says Kenneth Westrick, CEO of 3TIER. "This investment allows us to take the company to the next level and develop new products and services to meet our ever-changing customer needs."

"Our goal is to help a new generation of technologies, systems and entrepreneurs to succeed and make renewables mainstream," says Jean-Louis Brenninkmeyer of Good Energies. "The 3TIER approach matches with our strategy for long-term, environmentally sustainable investments."
