The Colorado Governor's Energy Office (GEO) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a third party to administrator the Colorado Carbon Fund, a voluntary carbon offset program to support new energy efficiency, renewable energy and greenhouse gas mitigation projects in the state. GEO is seeking bids from companies with detailed knowledge of carbon offsets and experience in developing and managing similar programs.

GEO will implement this program in partnership with local governments and community-based organizations. The RFP was issued by the state purchasing office. Vendors must register with the state of Colorado BIDS System to obtain the RFP specifications and be eligible for award.
