Algonquin Power Income Fund, based in Oakville, Ontario, has made its annual donation of C$10,000 to the community of St. Leon through the Table Ronde de Saint-Leon organization. Algonquin Power owns and operates St. Leon Wind Energy, a 99 MW wind farm located in and around the community of St. Leon.

Ian Robertson, executive director of Algonquin Power, presented the check to Paul Grenier, president of Table Ronde de Saint-Leon, during a meeting at the recent Canadian Wind Energy Association Conference. The company adds that it anticipates future growth for St. Leon’s wind farm.
