Alterra Power Corp., a British Columbia-based renewable energy company, has announced changes to its board of directors.

The company has appointed Kerri Fox to the board. She currently heads BBVA's North American project finance team and has nearly 20 years of project finance experience across the energy and infrastructure space, including renewable power.

Fox replaces Walter Segsworth, who has retired after serving on the board of Alterra and its predecessor company, Plutonic Power Corp., for over 12 years. Donald Shumka replaces Segsworth as lead director.

“Kerri is a great addition to our board, bringing strong familiarity with all sides of the USA renewables market and deep financing expertise,” says Ross Beaty, Alterra's executive chairman. "I would also like to thank Walter Segsworth for his longstanding, valuable service to this company. We will miss him, and we wish him well in his future endeavors."
