Colorado-based developer juwi Wind LLC has added Michael Hammond to its leadership team as chief financial officer (CFO).

A long-time consultant in the renewable energy industry, Hammond brings with him experience with valuations, business plan development, acquisition support, project sales, financial modeling, transaction structuring and financing.

According to juwi, Hammond previously served as senior vice president of project finance at Airtricity, where he helped grow the company into a $1.4 billion enterprise that was purchased by the German utility E.ON in less than four years.

Hammond's career has also seen posts at GE Energy Financial Services and Heller Financial Inc. in the energy sector and four years at State Street Boston Capital Corp. He started his career in public accounting at Coopers & Lybrand.
