Glimmerglass Ltd., a Cupertino, Calif.-based strategic business and regional development provider, has hired Peter Ridgway as the new leader of the company's clean-tech renewable energy sector.

In response to recent demand, Glimmerglass has recently increased its service offerings for renewable energy clients, according to the company. Ridgway's focus will be on alternative and renewable energy, especially the wind, solar and biofuels markets and their technical, economic and practical applications.

Prior to joining Glimmerglass, Ridgway was a sales and marketing leader at HP.
