Apex Wind Energy says Steve Vavrik has joined the company as executive vice president (EVP) of business development.

In his new role, Vavrik will lead Apex's efforts on power marketing, origination, general business development and acquisitions for all of the company's wind and solar projects.

Vavrik brings 15 years of power development experience to Apex, having worked at GE Capital, Enron, Dynegy, First Wind and SunPower.
