EDF Energies Nouvelles Acquires 116 MW Wind Energy Portfolio

EDF Energies Nouvelles has acquired Sechilienne Sidec's wind energy business in France.

Sechilienne Sidec's wind power portfolio comprises six wind farms totaling 56.5 MW of installed wind power capacity, as well as five projects totaling 60 MW under development. EDF EN Services, a subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, will gradually take over the operation and maintenance of these facilities, the company notes.
