ZF Services LLC says it is close to completing an expansion of its wind service operations.

The company, which was awarded a grant of $1.6 million from the State of Illinois to help fund the expansion, expects to complete the 2.5 MW test bench in March. As part of the new test bench, ZF Services is also installing a new steel structure to support the 30-ton crane for transporting gearboxes across the workshop area.
