Alliant Energy Corporate Services Inc. (AECS) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) on behalf of Iowa-based Interstate Power and Light Co. for wind energy projects.

The RFP is specifically seeking up to 100 MW of wind generation that is deliverable to Interstate Power and Light's electrical balancing area inside Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) territory.

Projects should be 15 MW or greater in size and must have a minimum term of no less than three years. The wind power facilities proposed under the RFP need to be commercially operational by Dec. 31, 2013.

AECS is accepting proposals through March 1. Details can be found HERE.
