NRG Systems, a manufacturer of wind measurement equipment, has introduced the Super 60-meter XHD wind measurement tower, which is designed to withstand heavy wind and ice loads.

Based on the 80-meter XHD design, the Super 60 XHD features bolted joints, a larger baseplate and a thicker gauge tube. The installation method is similar to that of the 80-meter tower, with a reinforced gin-pole and heavy-duty winch, NRG Systems explains, adding that with the purchase of an optional 20-meter section, users are able to transform the Super 60 XHD to an 80-meter XHD.

The tower is compatible with the NRG Systems SymphoniePlus3 and Grand Symphonie data-logging systems. The Super 60 XHD complete system is now available for purchase and ships free via surface freight to most locations in the world.
