NYSERDA Launches $13.8M RFP For Small Wind Energy Installations

| The New York Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has issued a $13.8 million request for proposals (RFP) for wind energy installations for residential, commercial, institutional or government use. The incentives, which are capped at $400,000 per site/customer, will be paid to eligible companies that install approved grid-connected wind energy systems using qualified equipment. The maximum installation size is 2 MW per site/customer, and NYSERDA's incentive cannot exceed 50% of the total installed cost of the system. Applications will be accepted through Dec. 31, 2015, or until the funds run out. More information is available here. |
