Seattle-based 3TIER Inc. and Boulder, Colo.-based Entegrity Wind Systems have formed a partnership that will bring 3TIER's Firstlook Wind Assessments to public schools and communities.

"These organizations have historically not been able to easily validate or finance their wind projects," says Brian Reidy, 3TIER's executive vice president of market development. "[This] relationship will give communities 24/7 access to a complete, site-specific wind assessment within minutes."

Terms of the strategic partnership provide Entegrity customers a discounted price on Firstlook reports. In return, Entegrity has committed to deliver a set number of Firstlook reports per year.

"By simplifying the complex and expensive wind assessment process, Firstlook is able to deliver wind and power resource information to those who don't have weeks to wait or tens of thousands to spend," says Charles Newcomb, regional director for Entegrity. "It makes the option of high quality wind energy resource assessment available to everybody."
