Acceptance of copy is subject to publisher’s approval. If new copy is not furnished by closing date, previous advertisement will run. Cancellations are not accepted after closing date.
15% to recognized advertising agencies. Can be earned only when publisher is supplied with electronic file, insertion order, and is paid within 30 days of invoice. Digital files alone do not qualify for in-house agency discount.
2% 10 days, net 30 days.
Prepayment must accompany all
first-time advertiser insertions.
When entire schedule as per contract is not completed, advertiser will be rebilled at rate earned plus cancellation fee.
Ad File Format:
Our platform is Mac OSX, using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark 6.0. All files should output to: minimum 150 lpi / 300 dpi; maximum 200 lpi / 400 dpi. Ad files and image names should use no more than 16 characters, with no punctuation or spaces. A file extension needs to be included (.indd, .pdf, .tif, .eps, .ai, .psd, etc.). High-resolution PDF and X-la files are accepted when created using our PPD job options, which can be downloaded from our website or be e-mailed by our production department
(email@example.com ). Click here for these job options (PPD files / Print Styles) - File must be compressed. Please be sure there are no spot colors.
Fonts must be embedded or saved as outlines. Screen and printer fonts must be supplied with native files. We reserve the right to substitute fonts when necessary.
All colors must be process CMYK mode
(no RGB, Spot Colors or Duotones).
Bleeds (Full-Page Ads Only):
Full-page ads that bleed should be labeled ‘bleed’ and contain correct crop marks, offset at 12 pt, on the proof. Full-page ads without correct crop marks will be centered on the page.
All ads require proofs of the submitted file, printed at 100%. Advertisers should indicate whether a Certified ColorPress Proof is being sent. Otherwise, the ad file will be run to SWOP standards, and the publisher will not be responsible for color output.

INTERNET TRANSMISSION OF AD FILES:
Please indicate in your e-mail the publication name and issue month, name of advertiser and your contact information. All files transmitted electronically should be bundled into a .sit or .zip file.
