MFG Debuts New Brand To Reflect Its Wind Energy Offerings

The Molded Fiber Glass Cos. (MFG) - a provider of composites and a supplier of blades, nacelles and spinners to the wind energy industry - has launched MFG Wind, a new brand that will focus on the company's products for the wind energy industry.

MFG says the new brand reflects its inclusion of aftermarket services for the wind industry. In 2008, the company founded Wind Energy Services Co. in order to provide field repair and maintenance services, and in 2011, the company added newly fabricated spare replacement parts, blade reconditioning services and factory repairs.

MFG says it now provides resources across the entire life span of a wind turbine, including support for manufacturers and wind farm operators, as well as for emerging operations and maintenance companies and equipment resellers.
