Modular Wind Energy Appoints Former REpower Exec As CEO

Modular Wind Energy, a manufacturer of wind turbine rotor blades, has named Gregor Gnadig as its new CEO.

Gnadig joins the company from his previous post as chief operating officer of REpower Systems SE. During his tenure at REpower, Gnadig was responsible for the entire supply-chain management, including the worldwide production of turbines in Europe, Australia, Canada, India and the U.S.

Prior to his work at REpower, Gnadig held various executive positions in the conventional power business at ABB and Alstom in the U.S., Switzerland, Germany and the U.K. He began his career in 1987 as an engineer in the U.S. after earning a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany.
