North American Windpower: Postensa Completes Construction Of Wind Turbine Tower

Postensa Wind Structures says it has completed the construction of a 100-meter pre-cast, post-tensioned wind tower in Illinois for a Clipper C96 2.5 MW wind turbine.

All of the components for the installation were produced and built locally, the company notes.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held in Sublette, Ill., on May 31.
