The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) says Dr. Klaus Rave has been unanimously re-elected for a two-year term as GWEC chairman. Rave has served as chairman since 2010.

In addition, the GWEC board elected a new executive committee to support the work of Rave, Secretary General Steve Sawyer and the GWEC staff. The executive committee members are Peter Brun (Vestas), Denise Bode (the American Wind Energy Association), Juan Rivier Abbad (Iberdrola Renewables) and DV Giri (Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers' Association).
