North American Windpower: 3B Releases Roving Solution For Wind Turbine Rotor Blades

3B has launched its HiPer-tex W3030 roving solution for wind turbine rotor blades.

Specifically developed and engineered for polyester and vinylester resin systems and for resin infusion processes, HiPer-tex W3030 roving provides another option that allows manufacturers to produce longer and lighter blades for the larger multi-megawatt wind turbines located both onshore and offshore, according to 3B.
