PSC Of New Mexico Seeking Renewable Energy Credits

The Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for renewable energy credits (RECs).

PNM is seeking to purchase RECs from one or more qualified respondents for up to 150,000 MWh that have been or will be generated between Jan. 1, 2011, and Dec. 31, 2013.

The RECs can be from any source of renewable energy, including wind and solar power. Respondent(s) must be able to show that the energy represented by the certificate was contracted for delivery in New Mexico, or was consumed or generated by an end-use customer in New Mexico.
