Optimal Geomatics Inc., a geomatics services provider to engineering and geospatial professionals, has announced the awarding of a new contract to provide aerial mapping services for a wind farm project in the U.S. Midwest. The contract is valued at $290,000.

According to the company, Optimal Geomatics, headquartered in Vancouver, B.C., uses surveying, mapping, remote sensing, geographic information systems and global positioning system tools as part of its services.
