Vancouver, B.C.-headquartered NaiKun Wind Energy Group Inc. has announced the appointment of Douglas King as vice president of finance and accounting and chief financial officer (CFO) for NaiKun and its subsidiaries.

King has been the director of finance for NaiKun and will assume the role of CFO from Gary McDonnell, who had served in that capacity since 2003. Previously, King worked at KPMG as manager in financial advisory services - focusing on business valuations, corporate finance, due diligence and project analysis. He has also served as controller and business manager for a commercial imaging company.

"As director of finance, Doug has performed exceptionally, and we look forward to his ongoing contributions as chief financial officer and vice president of finance and accounting," says Mike Burns, NaiKun's chair.
