Tucson Electric Power (TEP) and its affiliate, UNS Electric Inc. (UNSE), have issued a request for proposals (RFP) for parties interested in providing renewable energy credits from renewable sources - including wind power - to TEP and UNSE through power purchase agreements.

According to the companies, they are looking to contract agreements for a minimum of 10 years (from Jan. 1, 2008, to Dec. 31, 2017), but will consider contracts that have a five-year duration.
