Todd Taylor has joined the Minneapolis office of Fredrikson & Byron, where he will serve as an officer in the corporate, securities and renewable energy groups. At the firm, Taylor will focus on the areas of business law, private placements, venture and other forms of financing, mergers and acquisitions, and renewable fuels law.

With eight years of experience representing developers, builders, consultants and others in the renewable energy industry, Taylor complements Fredrikson's wind energy and ethanol expertise, the firm says. Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, Taylor practiced with Rider Bennett in Minneapolis.
