Windbrokers Establishes New Group

Windbrokers, a supplier of new and used wind turbines, recently established Windbrokers Group B.V., which will comprise four independent business units - new equipment, used equipment, services and promotions.

According to the company, the group will focus its efforts on its new equipment division. Ard de Poot has been hired as sales manager for the division, where he will concentrate on selling the Vestas RRB PS47/600 turbine worldwide. In addition, Dick Vermeulen has been appointed managing director of Windbrokers Group B.V. and Henk van den Bosch has been named marketing director.

"These changes follow the strong growth of activities in the attractive wind energy market," comments Vermeulen. "The Vestas RRB PS47/600 turbine - with a pretty short lead time - has proven to be a most attractive offer to the market."
